Yesterday, after an exce-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-edingly long and slo-o-o-o-o-o-ow morning at work I had lunch with a dear
friend of mine - she is the best tonic I have to hand as she can alternatively make me laugh out loud, inspire me with her creativity or encourage me to try new things. So, now buoyed up with enthusiasm and a bag full of brightly coloured wool tops to play with, I am having to shelve or rather contain that urge to craft coz I have to do an on-line exam for the NHS ( *
yay*).

A spot of procrastination is in play here - not that you'd notice.........
It must be a subconscious act but I seem to have made a 'nest' for myself - however I can not delay any longer...... got to get on. Wish me luck coz I am so not looking forward to my on-line exam!!

I've done that - sunk into a chair with a book or crafting and shutting out the world when really I have a lot of other probably more serious things to be getting on with
ReplyDeleteNests are the best.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll do well but lots of luck anyway. Now I really must find something to distract me from the waiting housework - oops, seems I have
ReplyDeleteHope your exam went well so you can forget about it and concentrate on something far more important - crafting!! Jak :>) xx
ReplyDeleteLiz of Wool boutique - they so are the best!
ReplyDeleteAngela - keep being distracted - housework stifles creativity! (well that's what I keep telling myself)
Jak - thanks, have 7 of them to do!!
That looks such a cosy, comfy place! I always seem to gravitate to the same spot on the sofa! Love the blankets!
ReplyDeletePS Good luck!
Andrea - hi - thank you, yes I quite agree, I find that gravitational pull often too great to ignore!
