I'd been wanting to try this recipe for a little while but not having the time (work), the inclination (viral what-evers) or the ingredients (kept forgetting to write down on the shopping list) I have had to make it wait. But tonight I managed to overcome all three obstacles. It was very tasty and very filling, although I did tweak it slightly for our palates.
I am
a committed not 'a-100% -vegetarian' and have been for over 20 years, Eldest happily dabbles and plays with his food while Youngest is a raving carnivore, well actually he and Himself are raving foodie-vores - their mantra is...
it's food - you eat it!
It is often quite difficult to satisfy all our needs, so I am always on a look out for a recipe that can do that. Well two out of the four ate it happily, the other two preferred to have ravioli. Well, can't win them all!
That looks rather nice, ?Recipe?
ReplyDeleteNot a vegetarian though, would probably have with cold meats

Yum yum, recipe? Looks like you've got chick peas in it too, love them

Recipe will come, don't worry :)
ReplyDeleteYes can imagine it nice as a side dish and yes Sarah - there are chickpeas in it :)
It looks very good. A pity I cannot reach into the computer screen and taste it! Better still, spoon it out for our tea, which I have yet to make so had better get cracking.
ReplyDeleteMy dear LL - it was tasty and it actually filled Mr Hollow-Legs-Himself up - so a success!!
ReplyDeleteHope you will post the recipe; I too have a 'hollow-legs' here.
ReplyDeleteRecipe soon - promise!
