Today's heart♥ is brought to you.....
by a work colleague and her cell phone jewel.
At work, every shelf is crammed to bursting with medication. Creams, lotions, tablets, sprays and every kind of toxic or non-toxic, palatable and disgusting, stuff you rub on, stuff to drink, capsules that are so tiny that you wonder what is inside, to capsules that are so large even a horse would baulk at swallowing. Our shelves go to the ceiling and are on all four sides of our tiny cramped space. Slotted between the medication we have computers, an 'office' area, cupboards, a sink and us - oh sounds like a chaotic environment but there is a strange orderliness to it. Everything has it's place, everything has just enough space to be filed, stored, kept, locked away, reached, used - but it a tight space. Except the small area that our cell phones have - it is 'sacred'. Enough room for each 'phone to languish during the working day. Mine remains the same solid black brick while the others change brand, change covers, change colours, alter between pay-as-you-go and contract 'phones.
Each has a different ring or buzz so that we know who's being contacted. Only, the other two often don't recognise their phone's call as by the time they have learnt the tone, it gets changed!
What hearty happenings happened on the 2nd Feb 2011?
