Sooo sweet!! Last year for my husbands thirtieth, I enlisted my daughter, and all her cousins to help me make an awesomely huge shell montage at the beach that spelled out Happy Birthday Mark, then I took a photo of it, and made lots of prints, made a card, and decoupaged a chest for him with the image, it was awesome and he loved it!!
That is a wonderful idea - bet it looked really good. I would love to see your pictures - makes me want to go out on the sands and start doing shell montages and writing too!
My daughter is currently planning to make "save the day" cards for her wedding. I've suggested she looks at your blog because I think this is a great idea, certainly makes it more personal.
