......Has winter arrived?
The tip of my nose confirms it...
My toes agree.
My fingers this morning, as I tried to open the hen's gate, were icy cold too.
The car's windscreen was frosty white.
Fingers of ice crept across the greenhouse glass.
The grass was crisp and crunchy.
And in all this cold crisp air, was the flash of orange from my Hamamelis (witch hazel).
Monday tomorrow. Not sure if I want this weekend to finish. Hey ho.
Oooohh I'm feeling all chilly just reading this post. It's definitely winter now, I feel snow may well be on it's way soon!

It's definitely arrived here, -4 on the bus stop run this morning. I wonder how my Hamamelis in my garden in The Shire is doing?
ReplyDeleteWinter has arrived, but only tentatively
ReplyDeleteWV is scone....lets bake some for tea and keep the house warm!!
It sure is chilly! I had to wear my pixie hat at work today to keep warm; I've been home for a while and the hat is still on!
ReplyDeleteThe Witch Hazel photo is beautiful! Winter is here also, or so they say, really it is in and out...Georgia weather. Stay warm and cozy.
