Waterproofs - well you never know
Lunch - for all four of us

Hats - ditto
Dog's lead
Dog's ball - for those 'lets play fetch' moments out on the hills
tissues - for noses
Coats - for all four of us again
'Bum mats' x 4 so we can sit in comfort when we munch

I get my hip pack ready, and I put in it....

crochet hook (and a spare)
first aid kit
chewing gum
cell phone

errr - priorities! priorities!!

And to prove it -

  1. Hello sweetie!
Looks like you had a lovely time and I am loving that gorgeous rainbow ripple.
Your dog has the exact same look our dog has when the hens come over to check her out!!
Will be around to 'see' you more often, promise ;)

  2. Oh lovely photos. I too would like the baby shire horse; think of all the horse muck for the garden!

Next best photo is giddy dog and the lambs - so sweet.

Great weekend here; sun, sun and working in the garden or up at the fields; perfection.

  3. I think Giddy Dog is a little confused. She should round sheep up, not be surrounded by them! But it does show how obedient she is. I also think you got the priorities of your rucksack contents correct!

  4. Hi Sara - really nice to 'meet' you :) always lovely to find new bloggy friends xx

LL - horse muck a-plenty where we were camping - near Appleby where there is a dozen horses in every field!

Jak - yes Giddy dog was a bit befuddled with the over friendly lambs, but was so very good :)
