I feel that I can not waffle on today about my life when so so many people are destitute, traumatised, missing or trying to survive the awful conditions over in Japan.
I sit in silence with my hands on my mouth trying not to cry every time I see the footage of their bewildered faces as they try to pick through their damaged environment.
I dearly want to help and am in the throws of trying to sort something out. I will let you know as soon as it is all in place - you might even want to get involved too.
That is all for now.

It is truly heartbreaking
ReplyDeleteWords failed me yesterday when I wanted to acknowledge the horror of the situation, although I did find rattling on about another issue quite diverting. Interested to know what you are planning.

Thank you for expressing how all of us must be feeling. It is almost impossible to comprehend. :>) xx

My heart is broken, as well. I've deleted the balance of my reader. Most of it seems so extremely trivial.
ReplyDeleteIt is beyond comprehension, and so heartbreaking. I've cried and prayed for all of them. Makes you realize what's important.
ReplyDeleteThe world is small...a friends' sister had just taken off from an airport in Japan, as all was happening. They had severe turbulence, but didn't know until they landed how close their escape had been. My son's friend from his summer job in Maine has family in the town hit the most...they are fine except dealing with the tragedy of it all. I would like to do something too.
