Outside - sliding cars, slipping buses, pedestrians precariously trudging.
Inside - crackling fire, steaming mugs of tea, computer humming, crochet hook inviting.
Outside - brilliant white and true sky blue.
Inside - warm and cosy.
Outside - brittle and sparkly, crunchy and slippery.
Inside - boys curled up on the settee - relieved of scholarly duties.
Outside - frozen ponds, fluffed up hens drinking from freshly warmed water.
..............................................................And it's only NOVEMBER!

Lovely pictures, especially the one of the girls in the snow. But where are the crochet hats, scarves and matching leg warmers?!! :>) xx
ReplyDeleteThey wear tea cosies!!
ReplyDeleteThe hens in the snow photo is wonderful! Reminds me of the books for children about Minerva the hen...there's one where she tries to find a hat to shield her from the cold snow. Lovely photo you made.
