The breeze ruffles my hair making me have to sweep my fringe out of my eyes.
Squinting into the bright day I watch as my boys run laughing through the long grass.
Three weeks of a persistent cough and a week in the garden has made me tired, I have become soft since giving up gardening as a profession.
But sitting here, behind the cottage where I can hear a lark singing it's territorial tune above my head, I can feel my body repairing in the sunshine.

Hope cough gone - excellent view

What a perfect view! Where is this?
ReplyDeleteSarah - thank you
ReplyDeleteCat - cough lingering but I will beat it!
Summertime D - it is a lovely view, it is in the Yorkshire Dales, above a small village called Rathmell, the nearest 'big' town is called Skipton - beautifully isolated and wild, I would not liked to have lived there in a cold and wet winter before the advent of cars/heating and warm clothing!
Definitely not!! It's sure lovely though. Oh what I would give to visit the UK! Especially Stonehenge and the Isle of Mona, so drawn to these places. The isle, well thats personal, seeing as how I share the name :)
