Our boys were playing with the dog out back,
when suddenly he noticed a bumblebee bumbling along.
'Careful' he called out as he reached down to rescue her.
She sat on his hand, not defensive or afraid.
Just tasting him.
Gently, gently she tasted his fingers.
Whilst he gently put her somewhere safe from games and dogs.
Somewhere she can hibernate.
