Deftly turning the lid, she began to shake the medication vigorously.
A sick child with
a distressed mother waiting.
Kindly, firmly she advises the dose and passes over the packaged bottle.
Then, with a slight, almost inaudible sigh, she greets the next patient.
His need is different, his need is the same.
They all want their prescriptions, their medicines, their pills.
Some days are good.
Some days are not.
But, it is a job,
my job.
And I enjoy it.
