That’s what he said to me a few years back, it made me cry then and even now, when I press play back in my memory, I feel a lurching twinge of unconditional love for him.

ReplyDeletewow. I spotted your post on Laura's blog about your wednesday knit n natter group and wondered if that also took place in Gloucester (does it?). Checking back to your first month's posts for a clue I've been struck by the beautiful poetry of your writing. This post especially as I delight in declarations of love. A beloveds kind words or loving actions can take my breath away. I've realised just how much my husband loves me these last weeks when he says how beautiful I am when I'm feeling sick as a dog!
